We are happy to offer a safe, nutritious and delicious option for people living with food allergies.

Ripple Foods, like all other brands of our size, is not able to have our own, dedicated manufacturing facilities. We rely on partners who can manufacture our products for us, and this means sharing facilities and production lines with other brands who make similar foods (in our case, milks!). Therefore, our manufacturing plants do house some common allergen ingredients.

Ripple products share facilities and production lines with dairy (milk), soy, and tree nuts (almond, cashew, hazelnut, brazil nut and coconut). Our facilities are egg and peanut FREE. We take great care to protect our ingredients and our processing from allergen contamination. So how do we do this?

In order to protect our ingredients and production lines from potential allergen contamination, we have an extensive allergen management program in place.

Our Allergen Program

Our suppliers confirm by written affidavit that our ingredients are 'big 8' allergen free, and all allergens within our facilities must be segregated from Ripple ingredients.

We test!

Before the production line is allowed to run Ripple products, it is cleaned specifically to remove any allergen proteins to below detectable levels using allergen testing kits. If the the line test detects ANY proteins, it is re-cleaned and re-tested until proteins are no longer detected.

We test again!

After each production run, a sample of the finished product is tested again. This final step is not common in the industry, but we use it as final assurance that our product is clean of allergens with which we share manufacturing equipment.

Less Common Allergens FAQs

Is Ripple safe for people with corn or wheat allergies?

Ripple products do not contain rice, oats, or wheat, across all flavors. Maltodextrin, derived from non GMO corn, is used as a carrier in our vitamins. Each 8oz serving of Ripple non dairy milk contains 24mg of maltodextrin. Since maltodextrin is a hydrolysis product from corn starch, it is generally considered to have no corn allergy issue. That said, you may want to consult your doctor and/or evaluate your previous experience with food products containing maltodextrin if you have a severe corn allergy issue.

Is sesame present in any of your products or facilities?

Ripple products, and our facilities, are free of sesame.
