Matcha Latte Oatmeal

  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 2 teaspoons good quality matcha powder
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups Ripple Unsweetened Original Milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Bananas
  • kiwi
  • blueberries
  • grapes
  • hemp seeds
  • nuts
  • blackberries
  • goji berries
  • toasted coconut


  1. Prepare the matcha. In a small mixing bowl add hot water and matcha powder. Whisk until no clumps remain. Set aside.
  2. Cook the oatmeal. In a 2-QT pot add the oats, Ripple Unsweetened Original Milk, cinnamon stick, flax seeds, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. Stir with a spatula to combine.
  3. Place on a stove set to medium heat and bring to a simmer.
  4. Cook, stirring occasionally until oatmeal has thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and discard the cinnamon stick.
  6. Add matcha mixture. Stir until thoroughly combined.
  7. Divide oatmeal between two bowls and garnish with desired toppings.
