Layered Smoothies (Three Ways)

Ingredients

  • PB+J
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup), divided
  • 1 cup Ripple Unsweetened Original milk, divided
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/3 cup dairy-free yogurt
  •  
  • Orange + Green
  • 1 large orange, peeled
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 banana, divided
  • 1 cup ice, divided
  • 2 cups Ripple Unsweetened Original Milk, divided
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 2 kiwi, peeled
  • 2 stalks kale, removed from the stem
  • 2 tbsp honey (or agave)
  •  
  • Yellow + Purple
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup beet juice
  • 1 banana, divided
  • 1 cup ice, divided
  • 2 cups Ripple Unsweetened Original Milk, divided

Directions

  •  
  • For the PB+J
  1. In a high speed blender, combine the peanut butter, banana, oats, 1 tbsp honey and 1/2 cup of Ripple milk and blend until combined.
  2. Add the ice and blend until frothy.
  3. Evenly divide between 2 cups and place in the freezer to keep cold.
  4. Rinse the blender and then add the other 1/2 cup of Ripple milk, frozen berries, yogurt and the remaining 1 tbsp of honey.
  5. Blend until combined then slowly pour onto the peanut butter mixture.
  • For the Yellow + Purple
  1. In a high speed blender, combine the mango, pineapple, 1/2 of the banana, 1/2 of the ice and 1 cup of Ripple milk and blend until smooth and frothy.
  2. Evenly divide between 2 cups and place in the freezer to keep cold.
  3. Rinse the blender and then add the blueberries, raspberries, beet juice, remaining banana, remaining ice, and remaining Ripple milk.
  4. Blend until combined then slowly pour onto the yellow smoothie mixture.
  • For the Orange + Green
  1. In a high speed blender, combine the orange, carrots, 1/2 of the banana, 1/2 of the ice and 1 cup of Ripple milk and blend until smooth and frothy.
  2. Evenly divide between 2 cups and place in the freezer to keep cold.
  3. Rinse the blender and then add the spinach, kiwi, kale, honey, remaining banana, remaining ice, and remaining Ripple milk.
  4. Blend until combined then slowly pour onto the orange smoothie mixture.
